6Therefore, tell the Israelites,‘I am the LORD. I will bring you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians, I will rescue you from the hard labor they impose, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
7I will take you to myself for a people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians.
16Tell him,‘The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you to say,“Release my people, that they may serve me in the wilderness!” But until now you have not listened.
35This same Moses they had rejected, saying,‘Who made you a ruler and judge?’ God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
36This man led them out, performing wonders and miraculous signs in the land of Egypt, at the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.
31When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and when he approached to investigate, there came the voice of the Lord,
32‘I am the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look more closely.
33But the Lord said to him,‘Take the sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.
16“Go and bring together the elders of Israel and tell them,‘The LORD, the God of your fathers, appeared to me– the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob– saying,“I have attended carefully to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt,
17and I have promised that I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’
9Then the LORD said to Moses:“I have seen this people. Look what a stiff-necked people they are!
4Pharaoh will not listen to you. I will reach into Egypt and bring out my regiments, my people the Israelites, from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.
5Then the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD, when I extend my hand over Egypt and bring the Israelites out from among them.
13Moses said to the LORD,“When the Egyptians hear it– for you brought up this people by your power from among them–
4When the LORD saw that he had turned aside to look, God called to him from within the bush and said,“Moses, Moses!” And Moses said,“Here I am.”
7But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ said God,‘and after these things they will come out of there and worship me in this place.’

1Then the LORD said to Moses,“Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh, for compelled by my strong hand he will release them, and by my strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”
12Moses said to the LORD,“See, you have been saying to me,‘Bring this people up,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. But you said,‘I know you by name, and also you have found favor in my sight.’
15“As in the days when you departed from the land of Egypt, I will show you miraculous deeds.”

20The Fourth Blow: Flies The LORD said to Moses,“Get up early in the morning and position yourself before Pharaoh as he goes out to the water, and tell him,‘This is what the LORD has said,“Release my people that they may serve me!
