  • 2They came from nations about which the LORD had warned the Israelites,“You must not establish friendly relations with them! If you do, they will surely shift your allegiance to their gods.” But Solomon was irresistibly attracted to them.

  • 19Now if you forget the LORD your God at all and follow other gods, worshiping and prostrating yourselves before them, I testify to you today that you will surely be annihilated.

  • 5so that they may keep you from the adulterous woman, from the loose woman who has flattered you with her words.

  • 12Brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against parents and have them put to death.
