    9The Present Covenant Setting“Therefore, keep the terms of this covenant and obey them so that you may be successful in everything you do.

    10You are standing today, all of you, before the LORD your God– the heads of your tribes, your elders, your officials, every Israelite man,

    11your infants, your wives, and the resident foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–

  • 1The Lord’s Provision in the Desert You must keep carefully all these commandments I am giving you today so that you may live, increase in number, and go in and occupy the land that the LORD promised to your ancestors.

  • 32Be certain to keep all the statutes and ordinances that I am presenting to you today.

  • 27The LORD said to Moses,“Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

  • 2When you cross the Jordan River to the land the LORD your God is giving you, you must erect great stones and cover them with plaster.

  • 12But if you ever turn away and make alliances with these nations that remain near you, and intermarry with them and establish friendly relations with them,

  • 25When you enter the land that the LORD will give to you, just as he said, you must observe this ceremony.

  • 23Be on guard so that you do not forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he has made with you, and that you do not make an image of any kind, just as he has forbidden you.
