13Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
14It is not with you alone that I am making this covenant by oath,

9Then the LORD said to Moses:“I have seen this people. Look what a stiff-necked people they are!
10So now, leave me alone so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them, and I will make from you a great nation.”
5The Lord Reveals Some Startling News“Look at the nations and pay attention! You will be shocked and amazed! For I will do something in your lifetime that you will not believe even though you are forewarned.
10Now I intend to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, so that he may relent from his raging anger.
