1The Institution of the Passover The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
20You did miracles and amazing deeds in the land of Egypt which have had lasting effect. By this means you gained both in Israel and among humankind a renown that lasts to this day.
21You used your mighty power and your great strength to perform miracles and amazing deeds and to bring great terror on the Egyptians. By this means you brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt.
28The Authentication of the Word When the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,
29he said to him,“I am the LORD. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am telling you.”
13Moses said to the people,“Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the LORD that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again.
19the great judgments you saw, the signs and wonders, the strength and power by which he brought you out– thus the LORD your God will do to all the people you fear.
9“You saw the affliction of our ancestors in Egypt, and you heard their cry at the Red Sea.
10You performed awesome signs against Pharaoh, against his servants, and against all the people of his land, for you knew that the Egyptians had acted presumptuously against them. You made for yourself a name that is celebrated to this day.
27The LORD said to Moses,“Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
45When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel
6Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites,“In the evening you will know that the LORD has brought you out of the land of Egypt,
1The Victory at the Red Sea The LORD spoke to Moses:
7Your fathers cried out for help to the LORD; he made the area between you and the Egyptians dark, and then drowned them in the sea. You witnessed with your very own eyes what I did in Egypt. You lived in the wilderness for a long time.
