1The Expectation of Justification Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

1New Life Individually And although you were dead in your offenses and sins,

6So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
11On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they are.”
13And when you heard the word of truth(the gospel of your salvation)– when you believed in Christ– you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,
14who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

13Call to Stand Firm But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
