“Therefore say:‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Although I have removed them far away among the nations and have dispersed them among the countries, I have been a little sanctuary for them among the lands where they have gone.’

This included all the best warriors.

    23I will magnify my great name that has been profaned among the nations, that you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the LORD, declares the Sovereign LORD, when I magnify myself among you in their sight.

    24“‘I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries; then I will bring you to your land.

    26They will bear their shame for all their unfaithful acts against me, when they live securely on their land with no one to make them afraid.

    27When I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will magnify myself among them in the sight of many nations.

    28Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile any longer.

    29I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD.”

    15“Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, and the whole house of Israel, all of them are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said,‘They have gone far away from the LORD; to us this land has been given as a possession.’

    13I will bring them out from among the peoples and gather them from foreign countries; I will bring them to their own land. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams and all the inhabited places of the land.

  • 28Then, when my sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel.’”

  • 3Then I myself will regather those of my people who are still alive from all the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their homeland. They will greatly increase in number.

  • 11Say,‘I am an object lesson for you. Just as I have done, it will be done to them; they will go into exile and captivity.’

  • 8But at that time they will affirm them with“I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.” At that time they will live in their own land.’”
