19 But you have been thrown out of your grave like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain, among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the Pit, as if you were a mangled corpse.
40 I will bring on you lasting shame and lasting disgrace which will never be forgotten!’”
16 But you will become drunk with shame, not majesty. Now it is your turn to drink and expose your uncircumcised foreskin! The cup of wine in the LORD’s right hand is coming to you, and disgrace will replace your majestic glory!
22 My judgment will carry off all your leaders like a storm wind! Your allies will go into captivity. Then you will certainly be disgraced and put to shame because of all the wickedness you have done.
16 Those who see you stare at you, they look at you carefully, thinking:“Is this the man who shook the earth, the one who made kingdoms tremble?
26 They will strip your clothes off you and take away your beautiful jewelry.
11 Disaster will overtake you; you will not know how to charm it away. Destruction will fall on you; you will not be able to appease it. Calamity will strike you suddenly, before you recognize it.
22 Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”
