  • 17 This will happen because they have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to other gods, angering me with all the idols they have made. My anger will ignite against this place and will not be extinguished!’”

  • 14 But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.

  • 21 This day I have told you what he said. But you do not want to obey the LORD your God by doing what he sent me to tell you.

  • 10 I will bring war, starvation, and disease on them until they are completely destroyed from the land I gave them and their ancestors.’”
