2“Truly, I know that this is so. But how can a human be just before God?
5I would know with what words he would answer me, and understand what he would say to me.
6Would he contend with me with great power? No, he would only pay attention to me.
7There an upright person could present his case before him, and I would be delivered forever from my judge.
19Who will contend with me? If anyone can, I will be silent and die.
13So do not say,‘We have found wisdom! God will refute him, not man!’
14Job has not directed his words to me, and so I will not reply to him with your arguments.
23As for the Almighty, we cannot attain to him! He is great in power, but justice and abundant righteousness he does not oppress.
10Is it not fierce when it is awakened? Who is he, then, who can stand before it?
13But he is unchangeable, and who can change him? Whatever he has desired, he does.

14then what will I do when God confronts me in judgment; when he intervenes, how will I respond to him?
8Will you show him partiality? Will you argue the case for God?

9Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
7“Can you discover the essence of God? Can you find out the perfection of the Almighty?
17“Is a mortal man righteous before God? Or a man pure before his Creator?
2I will say to God,‘Do not condemn me; tell me why you are contending with me.’
23If there is an angel beside him, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what constitutes his uprightness;
9When a wise person goes to court with a foolish person, there is no peace whether he is angry or laughs.
