1The Victory at the Red Sea The LORD spoke to Moses:
2“Tell the Israelites that they must turn and camp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea; you are to camp by the sea before Baal Zephon opposite it.
2Now it is ordinarily an eleven-day journey from Horeb to Kadesh Barnea by way of Mount Seir.
18Now today you dare to turn back from following the LORD! You are rebelling today against the LORD; tomorrow he may break out in anger against the entire community of Israel.
16When they left Egypt, Israel traveled through the desert as far as the Red Sea and then came to Kadesh.
19Then we left Horeb and passed through all that immense, forbidding wilderness that you saw on the way to the Amorite hill country as the LORD our God had commanded us to do, finally arriving at Kadesh Barnea.
4Fiery Serpents Then they traveled from Mount Hor by the road to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom, but the people became impatient along the way.
5Saul proceeded to the city of Amalek, where he set an ambush in the wadi.

25The Distribution of Spoils Then the LORD spoke to Moses:
16Now the descendants of the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up with the people of Judah from the city of date palm trees to Arad in the wilderness of Judah, located in the Negev. They went and lived with the people of Judah.
43and defeated the rest of the Amalekite refugees; they live there to this very day.
16Then Moses said to Korah,“You and all your company present yourselves before the LORD– you and they, and Aaron– tomorrow.
30You will by no means enter into the land where I swore to settle you. The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
10They traveled from Elim, and camped by the Red Sea.
4Instruct these people as follows:‘You are about to cross the border of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who inhabit Seir. They will be afraid of you, so watch yourselves carefully.
