18Now today you dare to turn back from following the LORD! You are rebelling today against the LORD; tomorrow he may break out in anger against the entire community of Israel.
3No one is to come up with you; do not let anyone be seen anywhere on the mountain; not even the flocks or the herds may graze in front of that mountain.”
19But don’t you delay! Chase your enemies and catch them! Don’t allow them to retreat to their cities, for the LORD your God is handing them over to you.”
12The Israelites are unable to stand before their enemies; they retreat because they have become subject to annihilation. I will no longer be with you, unless you destroy what has contaminated you.
2Moses alone may come near the LORD, but the others must not come near, nor may the people go up with him.”
14The LORD will fight for you, and you can be still.”
15The LORD said to Moses,“Why do you cry out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.
1Laws Concerning War with Distant Enemies When you go to war against your enemies and see chariotry and troops who outnumber you, do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt, is with you.

19“The LORD has told you people who remain in Judah,‘Do not go to Egypt.’ Be very sure of this: I warn you here and now.
18Since you did not obey the LORD and did not carry out his fierce anger against the Amalekites, the LORD has done this thing to you today.
16‘Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to them, he killed them in the wilderness.’
21The LORD said to Moses,“Go down and solemnly warn the people, lest they force their way through to the LORD to look, and many of them perish.
12But God said to Balaam,“You must not go with them; you must not curse the people, for they are blessed.”
27Go up to the top of Pisgah and take a good look to the west, north, south, and east, for you will not be allowed to cross the Jordan.
