18And to whom did he swear they would never enter into his rest, except those who were disobedient?

26So he made a solemn vow that he would make them die in the wilderness,
21But the LORD became angry with me because of you and vowed that I would never cross the Jordan nor enter the good land that he is about to give you.

41But Moses said,“Why are you now transgressing the commandment of the LORD? It will not succeed!
42Do not go up, for the LORD is not among you, and you will be defeated before your enemies.
43For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will fall by the sword. Because you have turned away from the LORD, the LORD will not be with you.”
4Why have you brought up the LORD’s community into this wilderness? So that we and our cattle should die here?
15For if you turn away from following him, he will once again abandon them in the wilderness, and you will be the reason for their destruction.”
24“Aaron will be gathered to his ancestors, for he will not enter into the land I have given to the Israelites because both of you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.
41But on the next day the whole community of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying,“You have killed the LORD’s people!”
13So the LORD’s anger was kindled against the Israelites, and he made them wander in the wilderness for forty years, until all that generation that had done wickedly before the LORD was finished.
