4 The king of Egypt said to them,“Moses and Aaron, why do you cause the people to refrain from their work? Return to your labor!”
27 We must go on a three-day journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God, just as he is telling us.”
3 But the people were very thirsty there for water, and they murmured against Moses and said,“Why in the world did you bring us up from Egypt– to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?”
18 The Return of Moses So Moses went back to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him,“Let me go, so that I may return to my relatives in Egypt and see if they are still alive.” Jethro said to Moses,“Go in peace.”
19 The LORD said to Moses in Midian,“Go back to Egypt, because all the men who were seeking your life are dead.”
14 You replied to me that what I had said to you was good.
15 The LORD said to Moses,“Why do you cry out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.
