  • 14“I have meat from my peace offerings at home; today I have fulfilled my vows!

  • 35Then I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what is in my heart and soul. I will build for him a lasting dynasty and he will serve my chosen one for all time.

  • 9Look, you will have a son, who will be a peaceful man. I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. Indeed, Solomon will be his name; I will give Israel peace and quiet during his reign.

  • 12If your sons keep my covenant and the rules I teach them, their sons will also sit on your throne forever.”

  • 7I will confirm my covenant as a perpetual covenant between me and you. It will extend to your descendants after you throughout their generations. I will be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
