30Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to join fervently with me in prayer to God on my behalf.

16But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.
29Paul replied,“I pray to God that whether in a short or a long time not only you but also all those who are listening to me today could become such as I am, except for these chains.”
16May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my imprisonment.
17But when he arrived in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me.
18May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day! And you know very well all the ways he served me in Ephesus.
