8When the time for them to be rescued comes,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,“I will rescue you from foreign subjugation. I will deliver you from captivity. Foreigners will then no longer subjugate them.
7At that time tribute will be brought to the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, by a people that are tall and smooth-skinned, a people that are feared far and wide, a nation strong and victorious, whose land rivers divide. 13I will give away your wealth and your treasures as plunder. I will give it away free of charge for the sins you have committed throughout your land.
14I will make you serve your enemies in a land that you know nothing about. For my anger is like a fire that will burn against you.”

46“For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Bring up an army against them and subject them to terror and plunder.

8The LORD was angry at Judah and Jerusalem and made them an appalling object of horror at which people hiss out their scorn, as you can see with your own eyes.
