5for if even in the flesh I am absent -- yet in the spirit I am with you, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in regard to Christ;
24I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and do fill up the things lacking of the tribulations of the Christ in my flesh for his body, which is the assembly,
13wherefore, I ask `you' not to faint in my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
30And I call upon you, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in the prayers for me unto God,
7for we have much joy and comfort in thy love, because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed through thee, brother.
8Wherefore, having in Christ much boldness to command thee that which is fit --
4desiring greatly to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that with joy I may be filled,
9for God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the good news of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you,
10always in my prayers beseeching, if by any means now at length I shall have a prosperous journey, by the will of God, to come unto you,
11for I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, that ye may be established;
12and that is, that I may be comforted together among you, through the faith in one another, both yours and mine.
13And I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, that many times I did purpose to come unto you -- and was hindered till the present time -- that some fruit I might have also among you, even as also among the other nations.
12Many things having to write to you, I did not intend through paper and ink, but I hope to come unto you, and speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full;
13whom I did wish to retain to myself, that in thy behalf he might minister to me in the bonds of the good news,
8wherefore, I call upon you to confirm love to him,
9for, for this also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether in regard to all things ye are obedient.
15Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and the love to all the saints,
19my little children, of whom again I travail in birth, till Christ may be formed in you,
20and I was wishing to be present with you now, and to change my voice, because I am in doubt about you.
29for which also I labour, striving according to his working that is working in me in power.
10night and day exceedingly beseeching, that we might see your face, and perfect the things lacking in your faith.
4in regard to which ye are able, reading `it', to understand my knowledge in the secret of the Christ,

26seeing he was longing after you all, and in heaviness, because ye heard that he ailed,

26that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence again to you.
27Only worthily of the good news of the Christ conduct ye yourselves, that, whether having come and seen you, whether being absent I may hear of the things concerning you, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul, striving together for the faith of the good news,
17and the other out of love, having known that for defence of the good news I am set:
4great `is' my freedom of speech unto you, great my glory on your behalf; I have been filled with the comfort, I overabound with the joy on all our tribulation,
17And we, brethren, having been taken from you for the space of an hour -- in presence, not in heart -- did hasten the more abundantly to see your face in much desire,
12And I wish you to know, brethren, that the things concerning me, rather to an advancement of the good news have come,
13so that my bonds have become manifest in Christ in the whole praetorium, and to the other places -- all,
7as ye also learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful ministrant of the Christ,
9Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
28The more eagerly, therefore, I did send him, that having seen him again ye may rejoice, and I may be the less sorrowful;
11Ye see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand;
16and when the epistle may be read with you, cause that also in the assembly of the Laodiceans it may be read, and the `epistle' from Laodicea that ye also may read;
19For I have known that this shall fall out to me for salvation, through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Christ Jesus,
5because of this also, I, no longer forbearing, did send to know your faith, lest he who is tempting did tempt you, and in vain might be our labour.
23Salute thee doth Epaphras, (my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus,)
30because on account of the work of the Christ he drew near to death, having hazarded the life that he might fill up your deficiency of service unto me.
