På den tiden svarte Uriel og sa til meg: Se, jeg har vist deg alle ting, o Enok;

In those days Uriel answered and said to me, Behold, I have showed thee all things, O Enoch;

Og alle ting har jeg åpenbart for deg. Du ser solen, månen, og de som fører stjernene på himmelen, som forårsaker alle deres handlinger, årstider og ankomster til å vende tilbake.

And all things have I revealed to thee. Thou seest the sun, the moon, and those which conduct the stars of heaven, which cause all their operations, seasons, and arrivals to return.

I synderens dager skal årene bli forkortet.

In the days of sinners the years shall be shortened.

Deres frø skal være tilbakeholdt i den fruktbare jorden; og alt som gjøres på jorden skal bli omvendt og forsvinne i sin tid. Regnet skal bli tilbakeholdt, og himmelen skal stå stille.

Their seed shall be backward in their prolific soil; and everything done on earth shall be subverted, and disappear in its season. The rain shall be restrained, and heaven shall stand still.

I de dagene skal fruktene av jorden komme sent, og ikke blomstre i sin tid; og i sin tid skal fruktene av trærne være tilbakeholdt.

In those days the fruits of the earth shall be late, and not flourish in their season; and in their season the fruits of the trees shall be withholden.

Månen skal endre sine lover, og ikke bli sett på sin rette tid. Men i de dagene skal himmelen bli synlig, og ødeleggelse skal innta grensene til de store vognene i vest. Himmelen skal skinne mer enn når den er opplyst av lysets ordener; mens mange høvdinger blant stjernenes autoritet skal fare vill, og forvrenge sine veier og gjerninger.

The moon shall change its laws, and not be seen at its proper period. But in those days shall heaven be seen; and barrenness shall take place in the borders of the great chariots in the west. Heaven shall shine more than when illuminated by the orders of light; while many chiefs among the stars of authority shall err, perverting their ways and works.

De som befaler dem, skal ikke vise seg i sin tid, og alle klassene av stjernene skal være stengt mot synderne.

Those shall not appear in their season, who command them, and all the classes of the stars shall be shut up against sinners.

Tankene til de som bor på jorden skal overskride innenfor dem; og de skal forvrenge seg på alle sine veier.

The thoughts of those who dwell on earth shall transgress within them; and they shall be perverted in all their ways.

De skal synde, og tro de er guder; mens det onde skal øke blant dem.

They shall transgress, and think themselves gods; while evil shall be multiplied among them.

Og straff skal komme over dem, så de alle skal bli ødelagt.

And punishment shall come upon them, so that all of them shall be destroyed.
