    9አኪስም መልሶ ለዳዊት አለ፦ “አንተ በዓይኔ እንደ እግዚአብሔር መልአክ መልካም መሆንህን አውቃለሁ፤ ነገር ግን የፍልስጥኤማውያን አለቆች ‘ይህ ሰው ከኛ ጋር ወደ ጦርነት አይወጣ’ አሉ።”

    10ስለዚህ አሁን በጠዋት ተነሥ ከአንተ ጋር የመጡ የጌታህ ባሪያዎች ጋር ሂድ፤ በጠዋት ተነሥታችሁ ብርሃንም ቢበራ ተጓዙ።

    11እንግዲህ ዳዊትና ሰዎቹ በጠዋት ሊመለሱ ተነሡ እና ወደ ፍልስጥኤማውያን አገር ሄዱ፤ ፍልስጥኤማውያን ግን ወደ ይዝራኤል ወጡ።

    19“አሁን እባክህ፣ ጌታዬ ንጉሥ የባሪያህን ቃል ይስማ። እግዚአብሔር በእኔ ላይ ካነሣህ፣ መሥዋዕት ይቀበል፤ ነገር ግን ሰዎች ካነሱህ፣ እነርሱ በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ይረግሙ፤ ዛሬ ከእግዚአብሔር ርስት ውስጥ እንዳልተቀመጥ አድርገው ‘ሂድ ሌሎች አማልክትን አገልግል’ እያሉ አወጡኛልና።”
