    11እንዲሁም በሞዓብ፣ በአሞናውያን መካከል፣ በኤዶም እና በሌሎች አገሮች ሁሉ ያሉ አይሁድ ሁሉ የባቢሎን ንጉሥ የይሁዳን ቀሪ ሕዝብ እንዳስቀረ እና በእነርሱ ላይ አኪካም ልጅ የሻፋን ልጅ ጌዳልያን እንዳስቀመጠ ሲሰሙ።

    15የቀራሕ ልጅ ዮሐናንም በምጽፓ ለጌዳልያ ለብቻው በሚስጥር እንዲህ አለው፦ እባክህ ፍቀድልኝ እሄዳለሁ ነታንያ ልጅ እስማኤልን እገድላለሁ ማንም አያውቅም፤ ለምን እንዲገድልህ ይችላል እንዲሁም ወደ አንተ የተሰበሰቡ አይሁድ ሁሉ እንዲበተኑ በይሁዳም ያሉ ቀሪዎች እንዲጠፉ?

    4ጌዳልያን ካገደለ በኋላ በሁለተኛው ቀን ሆኖ አንድም ሰው አላወቀውም።
