But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram and sister of Ahaziah, took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, and secretly rescued him from among the king's sons who were being put to death, along with his nurse, and hid him in a bedroom. So he was hidden from Athaliah, and he was not killed.
