- Deut 12:5-9 : 5 Instead, seek the place that the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put His name and make His presence dwell, and go there. 6 Bring there your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your special gifts, what you have vowed to give, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your households shall eat and rejoice in all the good things the Lord your God has blessed you with. 8 You must not act as we are doing here today, where everyone does whatever seems right in their own eyes. 9 For you have not yet come into the resting place and the inheritance that the Lord your God is giving you. 10 But when you cross the Jordan and settle in the land that the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in safety, 11 Then to the place the Lord your God chooses for His name to dwell, you shall bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes, your special gifts, and all the choice offerings you have vowed to the Lord.
- Num 15:4-9 : 4 then the one who presents their offering shall also present to the Lord a grain offering of fine flour mixed with a fourth of a hin of oil. 5 Along with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice of a lamb, you shall prepare a fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering. 6 If the offering is for a ram, you shall prepare a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil, 7 and a third of a hin of wine as the drink offering. This will be a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 8 When you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering or a sacrifice, whether to fulfill a vow or as a peace offering to the Lord, 9 you shall present with the young bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10 You shall also offer half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It will be an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 11 This is how it will be done for each bull, each ram, each lamb, or goat. 12 Do these instructions according to the number of animals you prepare—one for each. 13 Every native-born Israelite must do these things in this prescribed way when presenting an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
- Deut 14:24-26 : 24 But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it, because the place where the LORD your God chooses to establish His name is too far away, then when the LORD your God blesses you, 25 you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place the LORD your God chooses. 26 Then you may spend the money on whatever you desire: cattle, sheep, wine, strong drink, or whatever you wish. You shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice, you and your household.
