12So with yourselves, since you are eager for spiritual gifts, seek to excel in building up the church.
31For you can all prophesy one by one, so that everyone may learn and be encouraged.
32The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.
14Indeed, the body is not one member but many.
1Pursue love, and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.
2For the one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, because no one understands; they speak mysteries by the Spirit.
3But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and comfort.
1Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be unaware.
5I wish that all of you spoke in tongues, but I would rather you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless they interpret so that the church may be built up.
6Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, what good will I be to you unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?
4God also bore witness with signs and wonders and various miracles, and by distributions of the Holy Spirit according to His will.

18But now God has arranged the members, each one of them, in the body just as He desired.
19If they were all one member, where would the body be?
20But as it is, there are many members, yet one body.
12Now, we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.
17Nevertheless, each person should live as the Lord has assigned them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

5That in every way you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge,
16All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17so that the servant of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
38But God gives it a body as He has determined, and to each kind of seed its own body.
10Now God has revealed these things to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
