13I continued watching in the visions of the night, and behold, with the clouds of heaven came one like a son of man. He approached the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.
14He was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom, so that all peoples, nations, and languages would serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
22You will be driven away from people, and you will live with the wild animals. You will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass over you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to whomever He chooses.
23The command to leave the stump with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules.
24Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: Break off your sins by pursuing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed. Perhaps there will be a lengthening of your prosperity.
25All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar.
31At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me. I praised the Most High, honored, and glorified Him who lives forever: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.
32All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as He pleases with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, 'What have You done?'
10They are also seven kings: five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. When he does come, he must remain for only a short time.

39After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours; then a third kingdom, made of bronze, which will rule over the whole earth.
40Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, for iron crushes and shatters everything. And just as iron breaks in pieces, it will crush and break all the others.
44In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will establish a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will stand forever.
45This is because you saw a stone cut out from a mountain without human hands, and it crushed the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. The great God has made known to the king what will happen in the future. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is trustworthy.
27Then the kingdom and dominion and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High. Their kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey them.
36This was the dream, and we will now tell the king its interpretation.
7Then the angel said to me, 'Why are you amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast with the seven heads and ten horns that carries her.'
1Then I saw a beast rising out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, and on its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads were names of blasphemy.
2The beast I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like those of a bear, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.
17For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by agreeing to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
20And you saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying: ‘Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump with its roots bound with iron and bronze in the tender grass of the field. Let it be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let it live with the animals of the field until seven periods of time pass over it.’
