They neither fear the Lord nor follow the statutes, ordinances, laws, and commandments that the Lord gave the descendants of Jacob, whom He named Israel. 35 The Lord made a covenant with them and commanded them, saying, 'Do not fear other gods, do not bow down to them, do not serve them, and do not sacrifice to them.' 36 But fear only the Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and an outstretched arm. Worship Him and sacrifice to Him alone. 37 And you shall always observe and follow the statutes, ordinances, the law, and the commandment that He wrote for you.
