8They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden during the breeze of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
9But the LORD God called out to the man and said to him, 'Where are you?'
15The LORD God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to work it and to take care of it.

12The man said, 'The woman you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.'
13Then the LORD God said to the woman, 'What is this you have done?' The woman said, 'The serpent deceived me, and I ate.'
22Then the LORD God said, 'Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever—'
23So the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.
24He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden He placed cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.
17To Adam He said, 'Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, "You must not eat from it," cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.'
18It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
19By the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread until you return to the ground, because from it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you will return.
11Then God said, 'Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their kinds, on the earth.' And it was so.
12The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
25But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will increase. I am the LORD your God.
21Take with you every kind of food that is eaten and store it; it will serve as food for you and for them.
3Every living creature that moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the plants, I now give you everything.
25The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
5Build houses and settle in them. Plant gardens and eat their fruit.
15Then God spoke to Noah, saying:
19If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land.
