18The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you, along with the elders, must go to the king of Egypt and say to him, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Now please let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God.'
20Then Pharaoh gave orders to his men to send him away with his wife and everything he had.
6When I brought your ancestors out of Egypt, you came to the sea, and the Egyptians pursued your ancestors with chariots and horsemen to the Red Sea.
10'So now go! I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.'
32'Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.'
19Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the Israelites swear an oath. He had said, 'God will surely come to your aid, and then you must carry my bones up with you from this place.'
23But you said to your servants, 'If your youngest brother does not come down with you, you will not see my face again.'
21'So do not be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.' And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
5'My father made me swear, saying, “I am about to die. Bury me in the tomb I dug for myself in the land of Canaan.” Now, please let me go and bury my father, and I will return.'
6Pharaoh replied, 'Go and bury your father, as he made you swear to do.'
21And I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that when you leave, you will not go empty-handed.
28Jacob sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When they arrived in the land of Goshen,
40But as for you, turn around and set out for the wilderness by way of the Red Sea.
6So Pharaoh prepared his chariot and took his army with him.
20So Moses took his wife and his sons, put them on a donkey, and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.
16Surely all the wealth that God took away from our father belongs to us and our children. So do whatever God has told you to do.'
