3The nations included the five rulers of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who lived in the mountains of Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to the entrance of Hamath.
41Joshua struck them from Kadesh-barnea to Gaza, and the entire region of Goshen as far as Gibeon.
19No city made peace with the Israelites except the Hivites living in Gibeon. All others were taken in battle.
10Judah also attacked the Canaanites living in Hebron (formerly known as Kiriath-arba), and they defeated Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai.
33Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish, but Joshua defeated him and his people, leaving no survivors.
