    20 Now listen, you will become silent and unable to speak until the day these things happen, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their proper time.

    21 Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and amazed that he stayed so long in the temple.

    22 When he came out, he was unable to speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple because he kept making signs to them but remained speechless.
