She shall not touch any holy thing or enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are completed. 5 But if she gives birth to a female child, she will be unclean for two weeks as in her menstruation, and she must remain in the blood of her purification for sixty-six days. 6 When the days of her purification for a son or daughter are completed, she shall bring to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or turtledove for a sin offering, and give them to the priest. 7 The priest shall offer them before the LORD and make atonement for her, and she will be clean from the flow of her blood. This is the law for a woman who gives birth to a male or a female. 8 But if she cannot afford a lamb, she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. The priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.
