27But the LORD had not said He would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so He saved them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Joash.
10Know, then, that not a word of the LORD will fall to the ground that He spoke concerning the house of Ahab. The LORD has done what He promised through His servant Elijah."
2The LORD said to Gideon, "You have too many people with you for me to hand Midian over to them, lest Israel boast against me, claiming, 'My own strength has delivered me.'
21Then Jehu sent messengers throughout all Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came; not a single one remained behind. They entered the temple of Baal, and it was filled from one end to the other.

8As they were striking, I was left alone. I fell face down and cried out, 'Ah, Sovereign LORD! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in your outpouring of wrath on Jerusalem?'
