20But the chiefe priestes & elders perswaded the people, that they shoulde aske Barabbas, and destroy Iesus.
21The deputie aunswered, and saide vnto them: Whether of the twayne wyll ye that I let loose vnto you? They saide, Barabbas.

30Which thyng they also dyd, and sent it to the elders by the handes of Barnabas and Saul.
23Which when he came, and had seene the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they woulde cleaue vnto the Lorde.
40Then cryed they all agayne, saying: Not hym, but Barabbas. This Barabbas was a robber.
