20Brethren be not children in vnderstondinge, howbeit as concerninge maliciousnes be childre, but in vnderstondinge be parfecte.

6Therfore let vs not slepe as do other, but let vs watch, and be sober.
7For they that slepe, slepe in the nighte: and they that be dronken, are dronken in the nighte.
17that ye God of oure LORDE Iesus Christ, the father of glory maye geue vnto you the sprete of wyssdome, and open vnto you the knowlege of himselfe,
18and lighten the eyes of youre vnderstondinge, that ye maye knowe what is the hope of youre callynge, and what the riches of his glorious enheritaunce is vpon the sayntes,
9For this cause we also, sence the daye yt we herde of it, ceasse not to praye for you, & desyre that ye mighte be fulfylled with the knowlege of his will, in all wyssdome and spirituall vnderstondinge,
10that ye mighte walke worthy off the LORDE, to please him in all thinges, and to be frutefull in all good workes, and growe in the knowlege of God:
2And fashion not youre selues like vnto this worlde, but be chaunged thorow the renewynge off yor mynde, yt ye maye proue, what thinge that good, yt acceptable, & perfecte wil of God is.
5Take hede vnto knowlege o ye ignoraut, be wyse in herte o ye fooles.
7Consydre what I saye. The LORDE shal geue the vnderstondynge in all thinges.
13Let vs walke honestly as in the daye, not in excesse off eatinge aud in dronkennesse, not in chamburynge and wantonnesse, not in stryfe and enuyenge:
14but put ye on the LORDE Iesus Christ, and make not prouysion for ye flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.
17be nether to vnrightuous also ner to foolish, lest thou die before thy tyme.
23but be ye renued in the sprete of youre mynde,
2yt hece forth (as moch tyme as yet remayneth in ye flesh) he shulde not lyue after the lustes of me, but after the wil of God.
18Let no ma disceaue himselfe. Yf eny man thinke himselfe wyse amoge you, let him become a foole in this worlde, that he maye be wyse.
19For the wyssdome off this worlde is foolishnes with God. For it is wrytten: He compaseth the wyse in their craftynesse.
20And agayne: The LORDE knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse, that they are vayne.
15For so is the will of God, that ye with well doynge shulde put to sylence the ignoraunce of folishmen:
4And it semeth to the a straunge thinge, yt ye runne not also wt them vnto the same excesse of ryote, & speake euell of you.
14as obedient childre, not fasshionynge youre selues to yor olde lustes of ignoraunce:
4But ye brethren are not in darknes, that that daye shulde come on you as a thefe.
4wherby whan ye rede it, ye maye perceaue myne vnderstondynge in ye mystery of Christ,
3For this is the will of God, euen youre sanctifienge, that ye shulde absteyne from whordome,
1Be ye the folowers therfore of God as deare children,
16I saye: Walke in the sprete, and so shal ye not fulfill the lustes off the flesshe.
15For that ye ought to say: yf the LORDE wil, and yf we liue, let vs do this or that.
10to the intent that now vnto the rulers and powers in heaue mighte be knowne by the congregacion the manifolde wyssdome off God,

5Wicked men discerne not the thinge yt is right, but they that seke after the LORDE, discusse all thinges.
7The ende of all thiges is at hade.Be ye therfore sober & watch vnto prayers:
34Awake righte vp, and synne not: for some haue not ye knowlege of God. This I saye to youre shame.
20But ye haue not so learned Christ,
2For ye youre selues knowe perfectly, that the daye of the LORDE shal come euen as a thefe in the nighte.
19Quech not ye sprete:
