2And in the same sighe we also after oure masion, which is from heauen:
3and longe to be clothed therwith, so yet, yf that we be founde clothed, and not naked.
4For as longe as we are in this tabernacle, we sighe and are greued, for we had rather not be vnclothed, but to be clothed vpon, that mortalite might be swalowed vp of life.

14Wherfore dearly beloued, seynge that ye loke for soch thinges, be diligent, yt ye maye be founde before him in peace without spot and vndefyled:

3for we are the circumcision, euen we that serue God in the sprete, and reioyce in Christ Iesu, and haue no confidence in the flesh,
6Therfore are we allwaye of good cheare, and knowe, that as longe as we dwell here in the body, we are not at home with the LORDE:
7for we walke in faith, and se him not.
8Neuertheles we are of good comforte, and had leuer to be absent from the body, & to be at home with the LORDE.
9Wherfore, whether we be at home or fro home, we endeuoure oure selues to please him.
27Onely let youre conuersacion be as it becommeth the Gospell of Christ, that whether I come & se you, or els be absent, I maye yet heare of you that ye cotynue in one sprete and one soule, labourynge (as we do) to mayntayne the faith of the Gospell,
28and in nothinge fearinge youre aduersaries, which is to them a token off perdicion, but vnto you of saluacion, and that of God.
2Dearly beloued, we are now ye childre of God, and yet hath it not appeared what we shalbe. But we knowe yt when he shal appeare, we shal be like him: for we shal se him as he is.
14& preace vnto ye marck apoynted, to optayne the rewarde of the hye callynge of God in Christ Iesu.
15Let vs therfore (as many as be parfecte) be thus wyse mynded: and yf ye be otherwyse mynded, I praye God open euen this vnto you.
16Neuertheles in that wher vnto we are come, let vs procede by one rule, that we maye be of one accorde.
17Brethren, be ye ye folowers of me, and loke on the which walke eue so as ye haue vs for an ensample.
19For I knowe that the same shal chaunce to my saluacion, thorow youre prayer and mynistrynge of the sprete of Iesu Christ,
1Wherfore holy brethren, ye that are partakers of the heauely callynge, consyder the Embasseatour and hye prest of or profession, Christ Iesus,
19Yf in this life onely we hope on Christ, then are we of all men the most miserable.
4Soch trust haue we thorow Christ to God warde,
14for we knowe that he, which raysed vp ye LORDE Iesus, shal rayse vs vp also by ye meanes of Iesus, and shal set vs with you.
16But now they desyre a better, that is to saye, a heauely. Wherfore God is not ashamed of the, eue to be called their God: for he hath prepared a cite for them.
19Now therfore ye are nomore gestes and straungers, but citesins with the sayntes, & of the housholde of God,
49And as we haue borne the ymage of the earthy, so shal we beare the ymage of the heauenly also.
