7Be pacient therfore brethren, vnto the comynge of the LORDE. Beholde, the hussbade man wayteth for the precious frute of ye earth, and hath longe pacience there vpon, vntill he receaue the erly and the latter rayne.
8Be ye also pacient therfore, and settle youre hertes, for the commynge of the LORDE draweth nye.
11Yee and we desyre, that euery one of you shewe the same diligence, to the stablyshinge of hope euen vnto the ende,
12that ye faynte not, but folowe them which thorow faith and paciece inheret the promyses.
7Sela. Yee euery man walketh as it were a shadowe, and disquieteth him self in vayne: he heapeth vp riches, and can not tell to whom he gathereth them.

3for as moche as ye knowe, how yt the tryinge of youre faith bringeth pacience:
4and let pacience haue her parfect worke, yt ye maye be parfecte aud sounde, lakinge nothinge.
9Let vs not be weery of well doynge: for wha the tyme is come, we shal reape without ceassinge.
23and let vs kepe the profession of oure hope without wauerynge (for he is faithfull that hath promysed)
13Neuertheles we loke for a new heauen and a new earth (acordynge to his promes) wherin dwelleth righteousnes.
5The LORDE gyde youre hertes vnto the loue of God and pacience of Christ.
11Beholde we counte them happy which endure. Ye haue hearde of ye paciece of Iob, and haue knowen what ende the LORDE made. For the LORDE is very pitifull and mercifull.
12Longe tarienge for a thinge that is dyfferred, greueth ye herte: but when the desyre commeth, it is a tre of life.
10Or sayeth he it not alltogether for oure sakes? For no doute it is wrytte for oure sakes. For he that eareth, shulde eare vpon hope: and he yt throssheth, shulde trosshe vpon hope, yt he mighte be partaker of his hope.
13lokynge for that blessed hope and appearynge of the glory of ye greate God and of oure Sauioure Iesu Christ:
9Neuertheles (ye dearly beloued) we trust to se better of you, and yt saluacio is nyer, though we thus speake.
8But let vs which are of the daye, be sober, armed wt the brestplate of faith and loue, and with ye helmet of hope to saluacion.
17Thus I waite vpon the LORDE, that hath turned his face from the house of Iacob, and I loke vnto him.
20But oure conuersacion is in heauen, from whence we loke for the Sauioure Iesu Christ ye LORDE,
21Whyle I cosidre these thinges in my hert, I get a hope agayne.
