8Then ye children of Israel did euen so as Ioshua had commanded, & tooke vp twelue stones out of the mids of Iorden as ye Lord had said vnto Ioshua, according to the nomber of the tribes of the children of Israel, & caried them away with them vnto the lodging, & layd them down there.
9And Ioshua set vp twelue stones in the middes of Iorden, in the place where the feete of the Priests, which bare the Arke of the couenant stood, & there haue they cotinued vnto this day.
22Then ye shall shew your children, and say, Israel came ouer this Iorden on dry land:
20Also the twelue stones, which they tooke out of Iorden, did Ioshua pitch in Gilgal.
26And Ioshua wrote these woordes in the booke of the Lawe of God, and tooke a great stone, and pitched it there vnder an oke that was in the Sanctuarie of the Lord.
27And Ioshua saide vnto all the people, Beholde, this stone shall be a witnesse vnto vs: for it hath heard all the wordes of the Lord which he spake with vs: it shall be therefore a witnesse against you, lest yee denie your God.

2And when ye shal passe ouer Iorden vnto the lande which the Lorde thy God giueth thee, thou shalt set thee vp great stones, and playster them with plaister,
4Therefore when ye shal passe ouer Iorden, ye shal set vp these stones, which I command you this daye in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
26And when your children aske you, What seruice is this ye keepe?
8Thou shalt therefore command the Priests that beare the Arke of the Couenant, saying, When ye are come to the brinke of the waters of Iorden, ye shall stande still in Iorden.
9Then Ioshua said vnto the children of Israel, Come hither, and heare the wordes of the Lord your God.

27But it shall be a witnesse betweene vs and you, and betweene our generations after vs, to execute the seruice of the Lorde before him in our burnt offerings, and in our sacrifices, and in our peace offerings, and that your children should not say to our children in time to come, Ye haue no part in the Lord.
28Therefore said we, If so be that they should so say to vs or to our generations in time to come, then will we answere, Beholde the facion of the altar of the Lorde, which our fathers made, not for burnt offering nor for sacrifice, but it is a witnesse betweene vs and you.
5How he established a testimonie in Iaakob, and ordeined a Law in Israel, which he commaunded our fathers, that they shoulde teache their children:
6That the posteritie might knowe it, and the children, which should be borne, should stand vp, and declare it to their children:
12And vnto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to halfe the tribe of Manasseh spake Ioshua, saying,
51Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them, When ye are come ouer Iorden to enter into the land of Canaan,
31As Moses the seruant of the Lord had commaunded the children of Israel, as it is written in the booke of the Lawe of Moses, an altar of whole stone, ouer which no man had lift an yron: and they offered thereon burnt offrings vnto the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.

10Then Ioshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

18And when the Priests that bare the Arke of the couenant of ye Lorde were come vp out of the middes of Iorden, and assoone as the soles of the Priests feete were set on the dry land, the waters of Iorde returned vnto their place, & flowed ouer all the bankes thereof, as they did before.
44So this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel.
21And I charged Ioshua the same time, saying, Thine eyes haue seene all that the Lorde your God hath done vnto these two Kings: so shall the Lorde doe vnto all the kingdomes whither thou goest.
25And Ioshua said, In as much as thou hast troubled vs, the Lorde shall trouble thee this day: and all Israel threwe stones at him, and burned them with fire, and stoned them with stones.
35There was not a worde of all that Moses had commaunded, which Ioshua read not before all the Congregation of Israel, as well before the women & the children, as the stranger that was conuersant among them.
