42 (For they shall hear of your great name, and of your strong hand, and of your outstretched arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, I will build you a house: therefore your servant has found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.
12 Then you will call upon me, and you will go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
18 O my God, incline Your ear, and hear; open Your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name: for we do not present our supplications before You for our righteousness, but for Your great mercies.
20 Then I will uproot them from My land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for My name, I will cast out of My sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all nations.
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.
6 Listen, O LORD, to my prayer and attend to the voice of my supplications.
3 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will allow you to dwell in this place.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
9 If disaster comes upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and in Your presence (for Your name is in this house) and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save us.
7 Nevertheless, hear now this word that I speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people;
27 Because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God, when you heard his words against this place and against the inhabitants of it, and humbled yourself before me, and tore your clothes, and wept before me; I have even heard you also, says the LORD.
