Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such disaster upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle.

12Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
26And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
4And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem.
12Thus will I do to this place, says the LORD, and to its inhabitants, and even make this city like Tophet:

10To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, and they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the LORD is to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
22So that the LORD could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which you have committed; therefore your land is a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.
31And I will punish him and his descendants and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, but they did not listen.
5But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
13Therefore thus says the LORD; Ask now among the nations, who has heard such things: the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.
16To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; everyone that passes by shall be astonished, and shake his head.
12Thus says the LORD: Though they be at peace and likewise many, yet they shall be cut down when he passes through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
8For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen, because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
32Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
9Shall I not visit them for these things? says the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
9Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
12Be astonished, O heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be very desolate, says the LORD.
