Then Elisha said, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus says the LORD, Tomorrow about this time a measure of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

42And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk of it. And he said, Give to the people, that they may eat.
43And his servant said, What, should I set this before a hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus says the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave some.
1Then Elisha spoke to the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, "Arise, and go you and your household, and stay wherever you can stay: for the LORD has called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land for seven years."
2And the woman arose, and did according to the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and stayed in the land of the Philistines for seven years.
10So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow was there gathering sticks: and he called to her, and said, Please, bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Please, bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.
12And she said, As the LORD your God lives, I do not have a cake, but only a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a jar: and behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13And Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said: but make a little cake for me first, and bring it to me, and afterward, make some for you and your son.
14For thus says the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, nor shall the jar of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.
15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her household, ate many days.
16And the barrel of meal did not waste, nor did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by Elijah.
1Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets to Elisha, saying, Your servant my husband is dead; and you know that your servant feared the LORD: and the creditor has come to take my two sons to be slaves.
2And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house? And she said, Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a pot of oil.
3Then he said, Go, borrow vessels abroad from all your neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
5Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? and the Sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, making the ephah small and the shekel large, and falsifying the balances with deceit?
6That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals; yes, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
24And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up, and besieged Samaria.
25And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until a donkey's head was sold for eighty pieces of silver, and a quarter of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.
26And as the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, saying, Help, my lord, O king.
27And he said, If the LORD does not help you, how shall I help you? from the threshing floor, or from the winepress?
28And the king said to her, What troubles you? And she answered, This woman said to me, Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.
10So they came and called to the gatekeepers of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no one there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and donkeys tied, and the tents as they were.
11And he called the gatekeepers; and they told it to the king's house within.
12And the king arose in the night, and said to his servants, I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry; therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
20And it came to pass, when they had come into Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.
38And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said to his servant, Set on the great pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.
6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see that you do not harm the oil and the wine.
6Yet I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your servants; and it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put in their hand, and take it away.
12And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.

31Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall remain on him today.
32But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man ahead of him: but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? look, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?
22And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour and sixty measures of meal,

23And he said, Why will you go to him today? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.
13This is the offering that you shall offer; a sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat, and you shall give a sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley:
17That you may buy speedily with this money bulls, rams, lambs, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.
