And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down to him: and he said, Behold, this evil is from the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?

7And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, "The man of God is come here."
26And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
14So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, "What did Elisha say to you?" And he answered, "He told me that you should surely recover."

3But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, Is it not because there is no God in Israel that you go to inquire of Baalzebub, the god of Ekron?
28And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

16While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you."
9Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him, and behold, he sat on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, Man of God, the king has said, Come down.
10And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, 'You may certainly recover:' however the LORD has shown me that he shall surely die."
26And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive clothing, olive groves, and vineyards, sheep, oxen, male servants, and female servants?
40And as your servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel said to him, So shall your judgment be; you yourself have decided it.
15Also the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
15And when the servant of the man of God arose early, and went out, behold, an army surrounded the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, Alas, my master! what shall we do?
21And the king of Israel said to Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I strike them? shall I strike them?
9And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
17And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate: and the people trampled him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.
