41And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.
2Saul chose three thousand men of Israel; two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. The rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
6And Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan; and Saul swore, As the LORD lives, he shall not be killed.
7And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan showed him all those things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence, as in times past.
18And they two made a covenant before the LORD; and David abode in the forest, and Jonathan went to his house.
32And they buried Abner in Hebron, and the king lifted up his voice and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
