2And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
3Therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

5And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.
18This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,
19Holding faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected concerning faith have suffered shipwreck,
14Knowing that shortly I must put off this tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me.
15Moreover, I will make every effort that you may always remember these things after my departure.

18And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
12Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

7But the end of all things is at hand: be therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
21For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better;
4To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, which does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
5Who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man takes your crown.

25And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith;
