20 Arise therefore, and go down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
21 Then Peter went down to the men who were sent to him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom you seek: what is the reason why you have come?
22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one who fears God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned by a holy angel to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you.
23 Then he invited them in, and lodged them. And on the next day Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24 And the day after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his relatives and near friends.
25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many who had come together.
28 And he said to them, You know that it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to keep company with or come to one of another nation; but God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what reason you have sent for me?
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call here Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is staying in the house of one Simon a tanner by the seaside: when he comes, he will speak to you.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to you; and you have done well that you have come. Now therefore we are all present before God, to hear all things commanded you by God.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality:
35 But in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is accepted by him.
5 And when Jesus entered into Capernaum, there came to him a centurion, pleading with him,
11 And immediately there were three men already come to the house where I was, sent from Caesarea to me.
12 And the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover, these six brothers accompanied me, and we entered the man's house:
13 And he showed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said to him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear to him, was sick, and ready to die.

23 And he called two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and seventy horsemen, and two hundred spearmen at the third hour of the night;
6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, do not trouble yourself: for I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof:
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.
10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
4 But Peter explained the matter from the beginning and described it in order to them, saying,
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, a certain object descending like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came to me.
10 But glory, honor, and peace, to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
24 For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and a great many people were added to the Lord.
