11And immediately there were three men already come to the house where I was, sent from Caesarea to me.

22And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one who fears God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned by a holy angel to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you.
23Then he invited them in, and lodged them. And on the next day Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24And the day after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his relatives and near friends.
25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
29Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what reason you have sent for me?
30And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31And said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God.
32Send therefore to Joppa, and call here Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is staying in the house of one Simon a tanner by the seaside: when he comes, he will speak to you.
33Immediately therefore I sent to you; and you have done well that you have come. Now therefore we are all present before God, to hear all things commanded you by God.
3Saying, You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them.
4But Peter explained the matter from the beginning and described it in order to them, saying,
5I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, a certain object descending like a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came to me.
6Upon which when I had fixed my eyes, I considered and saw four-footed animals of the earth, and wild beasts, and crawling creatures, and birds of the air.
7And I heard a voice saying to me, Arise, Peter; kill and eat.
27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many who had come together.
44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.
45And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was also poured out on the Gentiles.
46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then Peter answered,
16But Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were amazed.
38And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.
14But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, 'Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words:
9And he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

11And when Peter had come to himself, he said, 'Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent his angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.'
7And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.
7And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up and said to them, Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
