19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not; peace be to you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.
15And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.
16And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.
17So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face; but he said to me, Understand, O son of man: for the vision shall be at the time of the end.
18Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
22Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, before the one who had escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no longer mute.
23Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
14Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days; for the vision is yet for the days to come.
3And it was according to the appearance of the vision I saw, like the vision I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision I saw by the River Chebar, and I fell on my face.
15Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
16It stood still, but I could not discern its form: an image was before my eyes; there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
27And I Daniel fainted, and was sick for several days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
22And the hand of the LORD was upon me there; and he said to me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will talk with you there.
23Then I arose, and went into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
24Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said to me, Go, shut yourself within your house.
13But I, like a deaf man, do not hear, and I am like a mute man who does not open his mouth.
14Thus I am like a man who does not hear, and in whose mouth are no responses.
8And I heard, but I did not understand: then I said, "O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?"
3And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes:
9I was silent, and did not open my mouth, because you did it.
1And he said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.

16I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
4Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel assembled to me, because of the transgression of those who had been carried away; and I sat astonished until the evening sacrifice.
20And behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.
26And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be mute, and shall not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
6Then I said, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

21Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me at the time of the evening offering.
10Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.
