7And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great trembling fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

27And I Daniel fainted, and was sick for several days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
18Then there came again and touched me one in the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not; peace be to you, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.
20Then he said, Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Greece will come.
21But I will show you what is noted in the Scripture of truth; and no one stands with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
21Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me at the time of the evening offering.
22And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill and understanding.
23At the beginning of your petitions the commandment came forth, and I have come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore, understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
14And he said to me, To two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
15And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man.
16And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.
17So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face; but he said to me, Understand, O son of man: for the vision shall be at the time of the end.
18Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
19And he said, Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the latter end of the indignation: for at the appointed time the end shall be.
1In the third year of Cyrus, king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the message was true, but the time appointed was long; and he understood the message and had understanding of the vision.
2In those days, I, Daniel, was mourning for three full weeks.
15And when he had spoken such words to me, I set my face toward the ground, and became speechless.
16And, behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said to him who stood before me, O my lord, because of the vision, my sorrows overwhelm me, and I have retained no strength.
7And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when he has finished scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be completed.
8And I heard, but I did not understand: then I said, "O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?"
9And he said, "Go your way, Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end."
23And as the king saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, 'Cut the tree down and destroy it; yet leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him.
24This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which is come upon my lord the king:
14And now, behold, I go to my people: come therefore, and I will advise you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.
15I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my mind troubled me.
16I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
27Son of man, behold, the house of Israel says, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.
23And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their full measure, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall arise.
12Blessed is he who waits and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
13But go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.
28But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to King Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, are these.
1At that time, Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one found written in the book.
2And now I will show you the truth. Behold, three more kings shall stand in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than all of them: and by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece.
13I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought him near before him.
1In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar, a vision appeared to me, even to me Daniel, after the one that appeared to me at the first.
8But at last, Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods, and before him I told the dream, saying,
4But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even until the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.
19Then was the secret revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
45For as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.
10For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
