5The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if you do not make known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
6But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor: therefore show me the dream and its interpretation.
7They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will provide the interpretation.
8The king answered and said, I know for certain that you are buying time because you see the command has gone from me.
9But if you do not make known the dream to me, there is only one decree for you: for you have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me until the time changes. Therefore, tell me the dream, and I shall know you can reveal its interpretation.
10The Chaldeans answered the king and said, There is not a man on earth who can show the king's matter: therefore no king, lord, or ruler has ever asked such things of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean.
3Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from you:

18O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom, majesty, glory, and honor.
34At the end of the days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes unto heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored Him that lives forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation.
26And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: therefore shut up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
28All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar.
15And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but they could not show the interpretation of the thing.
1In the third year of Cyrus, king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the message was true, but the time appointed was long; and he understood the message and had understanding of the vision.
28Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God.
26And as they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; your kingdom shall be sure to you, after you have known that the heavens do rule.
