When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not follow or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.

15But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen unto the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you:
7Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8The lion has roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken, who can but prophesy?
25I have heard what the prophets said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, 'I have dreamed, I have dreamed.'
