  • 15You shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

  • 14When you come to the land which the LORD your God gives you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, 'I will set a king over me like all the nations that are around me,'

  • 4Except when there are no poor among you; for the LORD will greatly bless you in the land the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it.

  • 15until the LORD has given your brethren rest, as he has given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.
